Sing Something Simple: 6th. June 2018
We took Sing Something Simple to Kennet Court this afternoon. A musical meander down Memory Lane – with songs from the late fifties to the early seventies. We had a lovely time with the residents.
Pentecost 2018
A wonderful celebration of Pentecost at Woosehill. A new banner created for the occasion by our Banner Group, a stunning flower display from one of our ‘flower ladies’ and a delicious themed cake from one of our Tadpoles mums. Great teamwork to make the church look beautiful on this special day.
Tadpoles’ Christmas Service! (December 2017)
Today was our end of term at Tadpoles and we celebrated Christmas with a special service for our little ones, finishing with lots of festive treats. Thank you to Patrick for amazingly keeping all the children engaged and involved.
Happy Christmas Tadpoles – we open again on January 3rd and big brothers and sisters are welcome too!
New Church Banner
We have a new banner at Woosehill, made by some of the ladies of the church, with donations of many buttons from church members! It was hung in church in time for Remembrance Sunday and adds to our collection of banners for the different seasons of the church year.
Harvest Festival 2017
The Harvest Service at Woosehill church was held on October 1st. Gifts of tinned goods were donated for the Foodbank and Yeldall Manor.
Pyramid Rock Holiday Club
This year we held a two day Pyramid Rock Holiday Club based on Scripture Union material. It was enjoyed by an enthusiastic group of 5-11 year olds as well as our teenage helpers.
